We were there for Grasshopper's Concert, and Ms Ang insist to have dinner at Hard Rock Cafe, I seldom reject any offers when it comes to eating, so here we are.
One look at the menu really scares me off, every item cost about $20, therefore i estimate this meal easily will burn a little hole in my already burnt pocket.
The atmosphere was good, with a Rock Shop on the left when we enter the cafe. There was a big screen showing the MTVs of a lot of rock songs, I reckon it will be a good chill out place during weekends.
We proceeded with our orders, Ms Ang & Agnes ordered the Rock Chop (Pork Chop) & I ordered a Sirlion Steak from New Zealand. As for drinks, we go for Cecil Ice Tea which is refillable. On top of that, we also ordered a Anti Cobb Salad.
Service was a little disappointing when I requested the waiter to bring the salad which was presented in a shallow plate in to the kitchen to have it tossed. The reply was: Usually customers tossed themselves. It was after i explained the reason why I need it to be brought in to the kitchen to be tossed and my superb eye power on the waiter that he brought the whole plate of salad in.
Towards the end of her meal, Agnes found a black colored object which looks like a strand of hair on her plate. Definitely not her own hair after much analysis, we showed it to the waiter, and not long after, the manager came out to explain to us that it was the hair from the brush that was used to spread the gravy on the pork chop, we accepted the explaination and the manager also took this item off the total bill.
Overall experience with the restaurant is good, and I will recommend this place to others.
